PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR

THE CITY OF TAYLORSVILLE

The City of Taylorsville, located in Spencer County, Kentucky, seeks a qualified applicant for the position of Public Works Director to perform the operational duties of the City of Taylorsville Water and Sewer department.

The successful applicant must be a graduate of an accredited high school, preferably supplemented by five years of experience in water distribution, wastewater treatment, or collection system operations. Experience in street operations, as well as inventory management preferred. The candidate should have the ability to obtain a Grade II Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification, a Grade II Collection System Operator, Grade III Distribution Certification in a period of 24 months of hire date or according to KYDOW rules referring to certification testing.

Starting salary based upon qualifications. Benefits include Health Insurance and Retirement System Contributions. Must possess valid driver’s license, be able to pass background check and drug test.
