Invitation to Bid for P-25 Simulcast Systems
The City of Taylorsville, Kentucky is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of three site (3) P-25 Simulcast Systems to serve local law enforcement.
Bid specifications are available at the Taylorsville City Hall, Office of the City Clerk, located at 70 Taylorsville Road, Taylorsville, KY 40071, 502-477-3235 during regular business hours or on the city website www.cityoftaylorsville.com
Any questions about the bid specifications should be directed to Steve Biven, City Clerk at 502-477-3235.
All sealed bids shall be delivered to Steve Biven, City Clerk, 70 Taylorsville Road, Taylorsville, Kentucky 40071, before 12:00 P.M., local time on 21st day of July 2025 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
All bids shall be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “P-25 System Bids” in the bottom left corner.
The City of Taylorsville shall not be responsible for the premature opening of or failure to open a sealed bid that is not properly addressed or identified. All information on the bid form shall be typed, written, or printed in ink. Please do not use whiteout or correction tape on the bid form. Doing so may result in the rejection of the bid.
The City of Taylorsville reserves the right to reject all bids and waive all formalities in the award of the bid.
METHOD OF AWARD: Contracts will be awarded the contract on basis of “LOWEST EVALUATED PRICE.” Requestors reserve the right to reject all bids and waive all formalities in the award of the bid.
The bids shall be evaluated based on the following criteria:
1. Total Equipment, installation, training and related Costs.
2. Time frame for beginning and completing installation and commencement of operation
3. Information received from references.
4. Responsiveness, responsibility and qualifications of bidder.
5. Prior experience of Requestors with bidder, if any.
This invitation is subject to Reciprocal Preference for Resident Bidders pursuant to KRS 45A.494.
