The City of Taylorsville will be taking written sealed bids regarding the structure and contents of property declared surplus at 86 Taylorsville Road, Taylorsville, KY 40071. The City will accept one price for the removal of any contents or structures on the property. No minimum bid will be required.
The property will be sold, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the bid form, which may be obtained at the City of Taylorsville City Hall, 70 Taylorsville Road, Taylorsville, Kentucky, during the City’s normal working hours which are: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or downloaded from the city’s website at cityoftaylorsville.com. The property may be viewed by potential bidders on Saturday, October 26, 2019 between the hours of 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Identification must be shown. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted in the structure.
Bids will only be considered if submitted on the bid form. Sealed bids must be submitted to the City Clerk on the Bid Forms by 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2019 at the above location. The sealed bids will be opened at that time and then awarded to the highest and best bidder at a regular meeting of the City Commission, at 5:00 p.m. at the City Hall Annex, on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, or as soon thereafter as time will allow, subject to said terms and conditions set forth in the Bid Form, with the City reserving the right to reject any and all bids for whatever reason. The contents and any structural items must be removed from the premises within 30 days of the award of the bid.
